A Caistor man has been imprisoned for 11 years after being found guilty of a string of child sex offences.
Shane Snell, of Burnetts Yard, appeared at Grimsby Crown Court last week facing 21 charges and was found guilty by unanimous verdict of 14 charges.
The charges included indecent assault on a boy under the age of 14 years, gross indecency between a man over 21-years-old and a boy under 16-years-old and engaging in penetrative sexual activity and non-penetrative sexual activity with a boy aged between 13 and 15.
The offences took place on a number of occasions between 1999 and 2006 in Grimsby.
The 36-year-old has been placed on the sexual offenders register for life and has also been given a sexual offences prevention order.
Snell’s first appearance in court was at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on June 28 last year where he was given bail.
